MONTHLY  GOOD MEWS!

Every month we will have a new column featuring one of our "alumni"...a rescue cat that came to us in bad shape but went on to find a new home and lots of love.

FROM ABANDONED....

Jill was just a 6 months old when she and her brother were found abandoned in an apartment. Their mentally ill owner was nowhere to be found and the pair was thin, filthy, covered with fleas and of course not spayed or neutered (but right around the age where that would have been a significant problem). They were taken to the local animal control and we were contacted shortly afterwards. One of our Madison foster folks picked them up, gave them a bath, vetted and fixed and we put them up on the website. They sure didn't last long! (see below)

TO ADORED!!

A few months ago after my cat Bella picked up a horrible strain of Calicivirus at the vet and brought it home, I was heartbroken when I had to put down 2 out of my 3 cats within days of one another.  Luckily, my eldest, Bugsey was saved.

I was so lucky to have found your website and Jill (now known as Madison, for where we picked her up). She has really been a joy and my entire family and neighbors are all in love with her.  Of course my husband and I are really happy too.
I wanted to share some pictures with you and thank you so much for giving me such a precious gift like Madison.  She is truly beautiful and you took wonderful care of her while she was in foster care.  She is following me all over the house, follows me upstairs to bed and she is right there with Ty to wake me up in the morning.  She loves to be groomed and especially when my husband does it.  And she is ALWAYS first at the food bowl.  It is so funny how the breeds that I am used to are so slim and Maddie is just, well, a Ragdoll.  She is already bigger than her brothers.
MUCH LOVE,
Melissa and Ross Greenberg
