BLUEBERRY...is a lovely BLUE CREAM SMOKE AND WHITE PERSIAN. He is 6 years old, neutered and has an easy, silky coat and huge gold eyes. He is a little guy, only 6 pounds and is just absolutely ADORABLE!! Blueberry is the final Persian pulled out of a horrible situation in central Wisconsin (along with SUGARPLUM, see below). But he had it better than the others because his coat is so silky that he wasn't matted to the skin and in pain the way the rest of them were. He has recovered well in foster care (his eyes and ears hadn't been cleaned in a long time and his claws had grown so long they had penetrated his paw pads, making it difficult for him to walk...of course we took care of all that!) and needs to GO HOME! His foster mom describes him and a "Very outgoing, very FRIENDLY LAP CAT." He is playful and enjoys his Cat Dancer toy, much to the amusement of all. Blueberry is excellent with other pets and would probably be fine with respectful children. He is easy to groom but does need his face cleaned daily, as is common with flat-faced Persians. FOSTERED IN MADISON, WI. AT THE EAST TOWNE PET CLINIC, WHICH GENEROUSLY DONATES SPACE FOR US TO SHOW OUR CATS.

MISTY MAE...is a darling BLACK SMOKE PERSIAN.  She is spayed, front declawed and just had a dental. Her GORGEOUS coat (black over silvery white) is shaved into a neat lion cut and she has bright gold eyes. Misty is a petite 5 pounds and is just ADORABLE to see in purrson. She came to us as a stray from a northern Illinois shelter and her cottony coat was a hard shell of mats and filth. She is now much more comfortable and is just a little sweety. Misty is a quiet, calm cat who loves attention and never makes a fuss (she was a gem at the vet's office!). She is ok with other cats but is awfully small for dogs or little kids, but a home with respectful older ones would be ok. She needs a family that will keep up with her very cottony coat (it will need to be kept shaved or combed DAILY). Her eyes stay quite clean. Misty is a very healthy 8 years old and has at least another decade of love to give! She would be a great apartment kitty for a city-dweller! The reduced "mature" adoption fee applies.  FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.

ADOPTED!

I went home to Gurnee, Il.!

SALLY...is a lovely SEALPOINT RAGDOLL. She is 2 to 3 years old, spayed and has a medium-length coat in chocolate and cream and bright blue eyes. She is around 8 pounds. Sally came to us as a scared stray from a Chicago shelter and had not had much in the way of good food. She was underweight and sick and it took a few weeks for her foster mom to get her over both. But now she is feeling great and will be an excellent addition to a caring household! Sally's coat is not anywhere near as full as it will probably be, due to the poor diet and summertime. We expect when it fills in during the fall she is going to be REALLY beautiful! She is a lively, social, friendly kitty who is not shy and is happy to meet and greet. She is playful and moderately active and doesn't have much to say. She seems fine with other cats, probably cat-respectful dogs and certainly respectful older kids. FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.

JIMMANY...is a cute BLUEPOINT HIMALAYAN. He is 5 years old, neutered and front declawed and just had a full dental done. He has lovely "doll" face and bright blue eyes. He is around 8 pounds. Jimmany came into a local shelter as a stray with a coat so matted and painful he could hardly be touched. Our vet didn't think he had been combed in probably YEARS and he had to be knocked out to get that painful "shell" off his body. While he was under they noticed he had a mouthful of infected teeth and his ears were a mess too!! Poor little guy! So after a shave, a dental and thorough ear cleaning he's sure feeling a lot more comfortable now! He is really a handsome boy and he needs a home where he will actually be CARED FOR this time! Jimmany is doing very well in foster care and getting along fine with his Persian roommates. Jimmany is always out and about and enjoys petting and attention. He is a bit on the independent side (not a lap cat) and would probably be an excellent apartment kitty for someone. He is playful and moderately active. The best home for him would be patient, quiet, adult and experienced with cats and the grooming needs of a high-maintenance coat. Other cats are fine. No dogs or kids please. FOSTERED IN MILWAUKEE AT THE CAT DOCTOR VET CLINIC, WHICH GENEROUSLY DONATES SPACE TO SHOW OUR CATS.

BUNNY...is darling LILAC LYNXPOINT SIAMESE. She spayed, about 2 years old and just about the cutest little thing you've ever seen!  She's a tiny tot at about 6.5 pounds with huge pie shaped, light blue eyes and diluted colors in blues and browns. She came to us from a crowded Illinois shelter, lucky to be pulled out in the nick of time.  What a hunny of a bunny this little girl is.  She's affectionate and sweet always looking for some lovin' from her foster mom.  She loves company so much that when her foster mom gets up to leave the room, she wraps her little paws around her leg as if to say "please don't go"!  She's playful and inquisitive too.  A quiet and gentle girl, she would do well in that kind of household.  Lots of activity and young children would be too much.  Older respectful kids, one easy going cat or dog would be fine.  FOSTERED IN OSHKOSH, WI.

ALLIE...is a lovely DARK TORTI PERSIAN. She is around 2 years old, spayed and has a full, thick coat and bright gold eyes. She is aroun 7 pounds. Allie is a busy little girl who enjoys playing and racing around looking for games to participate in. She loves to climb cat trees, sit in windows sunning herself and watching birds. Allie is affectionate but independent and doesn't need to be the center of attention all the time. She is fine with other cats and dogs and would do best in a cat-experienced adult home. FOSTERED IN CARY, IL.

ADOPTED!

I went home to Brookfield, Wi.!

FAITH...is a lovely DILUTE TORTI POINT HIMALAYAN. She is 4 years old, spayed and front declawed and has a full, medium-care coat, nice "doll" face and huge blue eyes. She is around 7 pounds. Faith is just a gorgeous girl in a coloration we rarely see. She was an owner surrender with another cat due to owner allergies. Faith is a quiet, sweet, gentle little girl who loves to watch birds from windows, soak up the sun and playing. She is shy at first with new people and situations and needs a bit of time to become comfortable. But once she is comfortable she is an affectionate lap cat. Faith is fine with other non-dominant cats and maybe a gentle older dog that would ignore her. An adult household familiar with the maintenance needs of this breed would be preferred. FOSTERED IN MADISON, WI.

BOOCHI...is a lovely CHOCOLATE POINT SNOWSHOE SIAMESE. She is 3 years old, spayed and has a short, easy coat in beautiful caramel, coco and white colors and very pale blue eyes. She is around 7 pounds. Boochi was one of several cats surrendered to a local shelter from a family that was moving. She was the only one who made it into a safe place...there are just too many homeless cats out there and simply not enough homes...her roommates were not so lucky. Boochi is currently living in a multi-pet foster home and doing very well. She is excellent with dogs and cats, VERY affectionate and loving and would be a SUPER family for someone looking for a gorgeous addition to their household. FOSTERED IN GURNEE, IL.

ADOPTED!

I went home to Iowa city, Iowa!

PUFF...is a lovely WHITE PERSIAN. She is around 4 years old, spayed and front declawed. She has a darling clean "doll face" (no nose or eye issues at all), and bright greenish-gold eyes. Her coat is very full, cottony and high-maintenance (but has since been shaved into a lion cut. This is a photo of what is looks like when it is full). She is around 8 pounds. Puff is a really NICE cat who has been through several homes through no fault of her own. Between owner allergies and economic issues, this pure white beauty has been bounced around way too many times! Despite all of this she is friendly and outgoing, craving attention and of course as cute as a button!  She would be fine with other friendly kitties, perhaps a gentle dog that would ignore her and certainly respectful kids. A home familiar with the grooming needs of Persians/Himalayans is REQUIRED as her coat needs to be either shaved for easy maintenance or groomed DAILY. FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.

SAD LITTLE KITTY SEEKS LOVING HOME!

SUGARPLUM...is a tiny SILVER PERSIAN. She is 5 years old, spayed and is currently shaved into a nice lion cut. She has HUGE bright green eyes and is only a little over 4 POUNDS! Sugar is yet another kitty from the house of horrors in northern Wisconsin. Like the rest, her coat was a hard shell packed with old fecal material and her claws were ingrown into her feet. Life has not been good to this bitty kitty! But she's with us now and things are looking a whole lot better! Sugarplum is described by her foster person as the type of cat who enjoys one-on-one time with her person but is not clingy or particularly attention-seeking. She is affectionate and can be a lap cat when things are relaxed and quiet. She is more of a people-kitty but she could tolerate another easy-going cat or dog in her life. The best home for her would be adult, quiet and experienced with the grooming needs of long-haired cats. This would be a great apartment cat for a single person or older couple! FOSTERED IN MADISON, WI.

JAZMINE...is a beautiful RED AND WHITE BICOLOR PERSIAN MIX. She is 3 years old, spayed and front declawed. When she came into rescue she had a massive, full coat, which you see here. But it was terribly matted so we shaved her down completely. We have her "full coat" pictures here so you can see what she will look like when her coat grows in and also what  thick, high-maintenance fur she does have naturally. Jazmine is a BIG girl, at least 10 pounds, and is very pretty to see in purrson. She has huge light green eyes, nice "doll" face and of course a nose that is very slightly crooked! It just gives her character! Jazmine is an affectionate, loving girl who likes to be held and gets along well with other cats (unsure about dogs). According to her foster mom she LOVES BELLY RUBS and once you get that going there's no stopping the motor! She would do best in a loving home with no or respectful older kids and one that is familiar with the upkeep of a coat like this. The reduced "Mixed Breed" adoption fee applies. FOSTERED IN MADISON, WI.

WINSTON...is a wonderful FLAME POINT EXOTIC SHORTHAIR. He is 4 years old, neutered and has a short, plush cream coat with flame colored tipping on his ears and face, and HUGE BRIGHT blue eyes!! Winston was a former cat show champion and he is an amazing-looking cat. He found his way into our rescue due to a breeder dump and is now looking for a permanent home where he will be kept thoroughly brushed and clean (his face was a grimey mess when he came in). He has a very flat face but breathes fine and is just cute as a button! Winston is a SUPER FRIENDLY, happy boy, as all our exotics tend to be. He is fine with other cats and dogs and would probably be a great family kitty! He is calm, easy-going and loving...what a NICE BOY and WHAT A FACE! The best home would be one familiar with the maintenance needs of flat-faced breeds. FOSTERED IN OSHKOSH, WI.

SMOKEY...is a stunning SEAL POINT HIMALAYAN. He is 5 years old, neutered and front declawed and has a full, glorious coat, lovely "doll" face and bright blue eyes. He is probably 10 solid pounds. Smokey has been doing extremely well in foster care and has become a bit of a "social butterfly". He meets his foster mom with a friendly "hello" chirp and likes to watch her activities as she cares for the other kitties. Smokey is a VERY gentle, quiet, somewhat shy cat who absolutely needs a quiet, cat-experienced home. He is quite loving and adores being combed (as you can see in  his video), but would not be able to cope with a noisy home, dogs or probably kids of any ages. He is excellent with other easy-going cats (he gets along GREAT with other Persians and Himalayans) and would be an elegant addition to a family that will allow him to get used to things at his own time. FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.

PERKINS...is a friendly ODD-EYED WHITE  ORIENTAL SHORTHAIR MIX. He is 4 years old, neutered and front declawed and has an easy, short coat, elegant long face (with a CUTE PINK NOSE!) and unusual blue and gold eyes!! Perkins comes from a home where he was well cared for but allergy issues made him unable to stay. He is a BIG BOY...probably over 15 pounds...but nothing that reduced feedings and regular exercise can't overcome! Perkins is doing well in foster care and has been very friendly and happy. He does well with other cats, LOVES to be pet and played with and is affectionate and loving. He is moderately active, not talkative and enjoys interactive toys. Perkins has never been around dogs or kids and probably would be best off in a quiet adult home. He will be a BIG LOVEBUG for someone looking for an unusual and HANDSOME companion! The reduced "mixed breed" adoption fee applies. FOSTERED IN GURNEE, IL.

CAREBEAR...is a beautiful SEAL POINT HIMALAYAN. She is 5 years old, spayed and front declawed and has a full, medium-care coat, nice "doll" face and bright blue eyes. She is around 7 pounds. Carebear is pretty typical of most himmies. She is quiet, gentle, peaceful and easy to get along with. She came from a very stressful home where she was not doing well so she seems VERY happy to be in foster care! CB is an affectionate girl who would thrive in a quiet, Persian/Himmie experienced household familiar with coat care. She is fine with other non-dominant, easy-going cats but dogs and small kids would be too much for her. She would probably be a perfect apartment kitty for someone looking for a nice companion! FOSTERED IN MADISON, WI.

INDIGO...is a very pretty SEALPOINT SIAMESE. She is 1 year old, spayed and has a very sleek, long and lean body weighing between 6-7 pounds.  She has a short, tight coat that is soft and brilliant.  Indigo and her sisters Larimar, Crystal and Robyn (nearly identical quadruplets, see below) were caged their entire lives and came to us never having known human touch and affection.  They have been in foster care for several months learning to give and receive love and attention.  Indigo has made significant progress and has learned to trust her foster mom.  She enjoys and seeks out attention, purrs with pleasure and will give up her belly for a little massage.  She is somewhat chatty and joyfully plays on her own or with her foster mom.  She gets along very well with other cats, may do okay with a respectful dog. High energy, young children would likely frighten her but older respectful children would be okay. She is perfectly healthy but just needs a patient, quiet home that will give her time to adjust.  She will continue to blossom with nurturing and care.  Will you be the one to help this pretty girl continue to learn how good freedom can be?  Special Needs adoption fee appliesFOSTERED IN OSHKOSH, WI.

FAYTH...is an adorable CREAM AND WHITE BICOLOR PERSIAN. She is spayed and just had a dental done, which included a full blood panel to ensure health. She is 9 years old and has a shaved, cottony coat and bright gold eyes (this photo was taken before her full grooming). Fayth is about 7 pounds and is a happy, social kitty who would be a wonderful companion to just about anyone! She is great with other cats, doesn't mind being held and fussed over, and her little motor just seems to go and go (not to mention she is just AS CUTE AS A BUTTON!!). She is very inquisitive and friendly and is an affectionate a little kitty as anyone would want. She would be fine with respectful kids and maybe a gentle dog that would ignore her. The best home would be one experienced with the grooming needs of this breed...her coat is very dense and cottony and is either going to have to be kept in the "lion cut" she currently sports, or will need to be groomed DAILY. The reduced "mature" adoption fee applies. FOSTERED IN LAKE GENEVA, WI.

UPDATE! SHE CAN BE AROUND OTHER PETS! SEE BELOW!

SPECIAL NEEDS

BETTY DAVIS...is a wonderful SEAL POINT SIAMESE. She is 1 to 2 years old, spayed and is around 8 pounds. As is pretty obvious by her photo, Betty is listed as Special Needs because she is completely blind. She was born this way and was found living as a stray in Chicago, surviving on food left out for feral cats. However she is certainly NOT feral in ANY WAY!! This little sweet heart is one of the NICEST kitties you are ever going to meet! She is extremely loving, cuddly and just adores being held and fussed over. Her little motor never stops...she is just SO HAPPY to be with a loving family! Betty uses the litter box 100% and just needs time to get used to a new environment and then finds her way around perfectly. We have placed quite a few blind cats over the years and it's amazing how well they do in their new homes! Betty is in a home with older kids and she LOVES THEM. However she still has bad memories of fighting for survival with wild kitties and she is very afraid of other animals. She is doing much better in foster care and can get along with a very easy-going cat that would not bother or stress her. She loves dogs!  We know you are out there! The reduced "Special Needs" adoption fee applies. FOSTERED IN MILWAUKEE, WI.

ALMA...is a darling SEALPOINT SIAMESE. She is 1 to 2 years old, spayed and front declawed. She is a petite, GORGEOUS little girl; one of the prettiest little sealpoints we have had in all summer! Alma's story, however, is not a pretty one. She is a reject out of an Indiana Amish kitten mill. The Amish are not only one of the biggest players in the puppy mill industry, but they do mill cats from time to time as well, and poor Alma was one of the victims. We have often wondered why we get in purebred cats that are declawed but not spayed. We recently learned that it is not uncommon for unethical breeders and mills to declaw female cats that are frightened or defensive with breeding males. The declawing renders them unable to protect themselves (and the mating process in cats, even in the best circumstances, is not a gentle process). But even amputating her toes wasn't good enough because she was still pitched out for not producing the kittens she was supposed to. Despite this, Alma is just a wonderful little cat. She is not only beautiful, she is personable, friendly and gentle. She is not at all talkative and is only moderately active. Sometimes she seems as though she's making sure it is ok to play...as though maybe this isn't allowed. She deserves something better than what she had before! The best home for Alma would be one that LOVES this breed and would welcome in a little jewel like her. She is fine with other cats but would not be suitable with dogs or small kids. A quiet, loving adult home would be best. FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.

SPECIAL NEEDS

KASSIE...is a lovely TORTI POINT SIAMESE. She is around 5 years old, spayed and has an easy, multicolored speckled coat and bright blue eyes. She is around 8 pounds. Kassie is a perfectly healthy little girl but is listed as Special Needs because she only has 3 legs. She came to us with one of her hind legs missing, probably from something that happened to her a long time ago. She gets around like any other cat(jumps up and uses stairs with no problem), uses the litter box 100% and looks like any other kitty except for having one leg in back instead of two! Kassie is described by her foster mom as "being a very sweet little girl who gives little licky kisses and has a tiny squeaky meow she uses to get attention." She is a quiet kitty who would get along best with a very easy-going male cat that would ignore her. She adores attention (like most Siamese) and would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for an attentive but not overwhelmingly clingy or hyperactive personality. She would do best in an adult home. NO DOGS or small children please. The reduced "Special Needs" adoption fee applies. FOSTERED IN RACINE, WI.

GABBY...is a sweet RED PERSIAN. She is around 3 years old, spayed and her medium-care coat is growing out of a neat lion cut. She is a petite girl at around 5 pounds. Gabby is a lovely little girl who would thrive in a quiet, loving home. She is currently in a multi-cat foster room and doing extremely well with her roommates. She came to us from a home where she was well cared for but family circumstances made it impossible for her to stay. As you can tell by her video, Gabby is a loving, happy girl who loves attention and is a bit talkative. She is shy with new people and environments at first and will need patient folks who will allow her to get used to new things at her own pace. Once she is comfortable you can see what a LOVELY girl she is. The best home for her would be adult and quiet with no dogs or young children. FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.

SPECIAL NEEDS

LARIMAR...is a strikingly beautiful SEAL POINT SIAMESE.  She is 1 year old, spayed, has rich, dark points and the most amazingly blue eyes.  (They are deep and dark just like larimar, a stone mined only in remote locations in the Dominican Republic.)  She is a petite girl weighing only 6-7 pounds, lean and lithe.  Her coat is short and tight and layered with deep colors.  Larimar and her sisters Indigo, Crystal and Robyn (nearly identical quadruplets) were caged their entire lives and came to us never having known human touch and affection.  They have been in foster care for several months learning to give and receive love and attention.  Larimar has made much progress and has learned to trust her foster mom.  She enjoys attention and petting.  She is somewhat chatty and joyfully plays on her own or with her foster mom.  She gets along very well with other cats, may do okay with a respectful dog. High energy, young children would likely frighten her but older respectful children would be okay. She is perfectly healthy but is listed as Special Needs because she needs a quiet, patient home that will let her adjust at her own pace.  She will continue to blossom with nurturing and care.  Will you be the one to help this girl with the hauntingly blue eyes continue to learn how good freedom can be?  The reduced Special Needs adoption fee appliesFOSTERED IN OSHKOSH, WI.

NOBLE...is a friendly SEALPOINT SIAMESE.  He is neutered, 3-4 years old, weighs about 8.5 pounds and is tall and lanky.  He has imploring blue eyes that cry out for attention and trust.  Noble came to us from a shelter in Indiana. He was left behind when his former owner lost his job, his home and the ability to feed his kitties.  It was a difficult separation for Noble as he made his way from place to place before ending up in a secure foster home.  His exterior looks a bit rough with some broken whiskers and some lighter hairs on his face caused by the stress, but Noble is a trooper!   "I will survive" he cries out and now he is making up for lost time.  No one single word better describes him than I-N-T-E-N-S-E.  Noble is in heaven when he is with his foster mom.  He wants to constantly be close.  Happy feet knead away on her lap, only stopping just long enough to reach up a paw, pat her face and give her nose a kiss. His eyes follow her everywhere. When she's not able to be with him, he will call to her telling her how much he loves her. He is a chatty guy.  Noble lived with other kitties and would likely be okay with a respectful dog.  He is too intense for young children but older children who will spend time with him would be fine.  If you are hoping to find a loving guy who will be your constant companion, your search is over.  FOSTERED IN OSHKOSH, WI.

COCO...is a sweet SEALPOINT SNOWSHOE SIAMESE. He is around 4 years old, neutered and has an easy short coat with GORGEOUS markings and bright blue eyes. He is about 9 pounds. Coco came to us with Cool Eddy from the same shelter (though we don't think from the same home). He is a very gentle, sweet, loving boy who just craves attention and petting. He is quiet and tends to be on the timid side, but does get along with other easy-going cats that will not dominate or stress him. He takes a bit to get used to new situations but comes around quickly and then is just a LOVE-BUG. The best home for him would be similarly quiet and love this breed. An adult home would probably be best. No dogs please. FOSTERED IN RACINE, WI.

CRYSTAL AND ROBIN...are darling SEALPOINT SIAMESE. They are spayed, 1 year-old and petite, maybe weighing 6 pounds.  They and their sisters Larimar and Indigo (nearly identical quadruplets, see listings ABOVE) were caged their entire lives and came to us never having known human touch and affection. The primary way to tell these girls apart from Larimar and Indigo is that they each were born with partial tails that are 3-4 inches long. They have been in foster care for several months learning to give and receive love and attention. Both are somewhat chatty and joyfully play on her own or with interactive toys with their foster mom.  They get along very well with other cats, may do okay with a respectful dog. Children would be overwhelming to them. They are both perfectly healthy but very shy with new people and situations and need cat experienced, patient, loving families that will let them progress on their own terms.  Will you be the one to help these pretty girls continue to learn how good freedom can be? The reduced Special Needs adoption fees apply for each or will be waived if adopted with another cat.  FOSTERED IN OSHKOSH, WI.

WHITE FOOT...is an adorable SEALPOINT SNOWSHOE SIAMESE. She is 6 years old, spayed and front declawed and is probably one of THE CUTEST little Snowshoes we have EVER SEEN! Everything about her is very ROUND, from her face to her body to her round blue eyes. White Foot came from a home where she was well cared for but another cat was bullying her constantly so it was felt White Foot would do better in another environment. In foster care she has been delightful....playful, happy and loving to sit right next to her foster mom purring (she's not a lap cat but she always wants to be directly next to you). She loves to be held and snuggles right in, when she's not doing belly flops and hoping for attention! White Foot lived with cats and quiet dogs and has been around respectful kids. Her right ear is curled down due to an old injury. It is completely healed and doesn't cause her any problems. FOSTERED IN MAZOMANIE, WI.

BRODY...is a handsome BLUEPOINT SIAMESE.  He is 2 years old, weighs 10 pounds, is neutered and has all of his claws. Brody has a wonderful plush coat and brilliant blue eyes. He has really flourished in foster care. When he initially came into rescue he was so terrified that he slept UNDERNEATH his kitty bed for 3 days in an effort to hide himself. But as soon as he realized he was okay, he had a whole new attitude and his big affectionate personality came out. At times when his foster mom got up to leave the room, he would actually hang on to her foot to try to keep her in there with him for a while longer! He is very affectionate and just a big LOVE BUG. Brody was rooming with a 3 month old kitten that really kept him on his toes, and he was fine with that - but he does not get along well with other cats. He would do best in a quiet home where he is an only cat– older kids and perhaps a mellow dog would be fine. FOSTERED IN MILWAUKEE, WI.

TEDDY...is a handsome SEALPOINT SIAMESE. He is 2 years old, neutered and has an easy, short coat and bright blue eyes. He is around 7 pounds. Teddy is a quiet guy for a Siamese (which many people find appealing, LOL!) but is quite affectionate and enjoys being held and sitting on laps. He is sociable to new people one-on-one, though gatherings scare him and he does run and hide from loud noises. He is moderately active and playful and would probably do fine with respectful older kids in a quieter home. He is great with other cats but would not enjoy dogs. FOSTERED IN MADISON, WI.

BEATRICE...is a lovely RED ABYSSINIAN. She is around 5 years old, spayed and has a sleek, easy short coat in deep red and orange, and bright gold eyes. She is around 8 pounds. Beatrice is very much the typical female Aby. She is intensely affectionate and bonds closely with her people, giving head bumps and purring up a storm. She is intelligent, extremely playful, ACTIVE and just a little doll. Bea wants to be everywhere her foster mom is but is not a lap cat and is not into being picked up (both typical Aby traits). She is fine with other easy-going cats that are not dominant and would probably be ok with a gentle dog. The best home for Bea would be familiar with and LOVE this breed. Older, respectful kids would probably be ok. FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.

CHARRIE...is a gorgeous BLACK SMOKE PERSIAN. She is 2 years old, spayed and front declawed. Her thick, cottony coat is shaved into a neat lion cut and she has huge copper eyes. Charrie (short for "Charcoal") came into a local shelter as a matted stray so we had to shave her otherwise gorgeous coat. When it grows in again she will be absolutely STUNNING. Her face is very nice and she has no breathing issues and her eyes do not run. She is around 8 pounds. Charrie is a real SWEETHEART of a kitty. She seems to be purring all the time and is first out to meet and greet. She loves toys, enjoys being picked up and has been a true joy for her foster mom to care for. Currently she is being fostered with other cats and gets along very well with them. She would be an excellent companion kitty for another cat but MUST go to a home willing to maintain her thick coat...either by keeping her shaved or combing DAILY. Charrie would probably be fine with a gentle dog and certainly with kids as she LOVES attention. FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.
