Project Description

VIVIAN is a BROWN TABBY WITH WHITE PERSIAN.  She is 8 years old, spayed and has her claws.  She weighs 11 pounds and has golden eyes.  Vivian has been in foster care for about 1.5 months arriving with minimal background information, after her elderly owner passed away and the family was unable to care for her.  She arrived heavily matted, extremely scared, and with a raging urinary tract infection.  Her last checkup at the vet confirmed her to be healthy with her teeth in good shape.   She is growing out a lion cut, and enjoys a good brushing on her head and tail where there’s some fur left.    She has a cottony coat that will either need to be brushed regularly or kept in a short cut.   She has a relatively flat face, but zero breathing problems.  She does get eye crusties, but is a trooper when you clean her face.

This little cookie monster (check out that milk mustache!) is on the chubby side and could stand some low calorie food, coupled with some play time.   She’ll take a swipe at toys, but isn’t overly boisterous.   Once you earn her trust, you have a devoted bed or lap buddy for life!    Her soft purrs and squeaks are heart melting!   She still startles a bit at unfamiliar faces, or loud noises.   For this reason, she will do best in a home where older respectful kids will allow her to seek them out for lovies and play time.    She came in with another kitty that we understood initially to be her buddy.  Observation while in foster care, coupled with more in depth vet records from the previous vet office, has shown that Vivian has spent her previous years being beat up by her housemate.    Vivian would do fine with other mellow kitties that wouldn’t bully or harass her with a proper introduction.    She truly has bloomed since she’s been with SPCR and is a sweet gentle soul.  MATURE ADOPTION FEE $150. FOSTERED IN MINNEAPOLIS, MN.
