Project Description

SASHA…is a darling BLUE PERSIAN MIX FROM EGYPT. Yes, he does look a bit forlorn, but this young (between 1 and 2 years old) sweetheart was found wandering the streets of Cairo with a badly ruptured eye, starving and unwanted. Fortunately the wonderful animal rescue volunteers we partner with in Egypt were able to take him in, get him to a vet and get that icky eye removed so he is healed and doing very well. He’s a little kitty, maybe only 6 pounds, and his coat is very typical of what we see with these cats from hot climates. It is whispy and shorter, but as soon as good food and a northern climate kick in, it POOFS out into an amazing furrball!  So you can assume Sasha will look a great deal different a year from now! 😊 Sasha is neutered, has his claws and his coat is silky and easy…it will be easy even when the POOF kicks in. 😊  He is excellent with other cats, easy going, very sweet and just a dear, dear little guy. He is fine about being combed, picked up and just about anything. We do not know how he would be with dogs, but his foster mom is making the assumption that if it is a very mellow dog that would ignore him, that would be fine. Sasha would do well in most homes and would be an excellent “beginner” cat or Persian type for someone new to the world of felines! Do yourself a favor and take this fabulous boy home! Adoption Fee $100. FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.
