Meera
MEERA is a darling LYNX POINT SCOTTISH FOLD / BENGAL MIX. She is 6 months old, has all her claws, is spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Meera is a petite little girl with light blue eyes and silky soft fur.
Meera is lovely kitty that will take a little time to adjust to her new home. She is friendly, playful and gentle, but starts out a little shy. She is very receptive when approached to play or be pet and purrs up a storm very quickly.
Meera loves to nap in the cubby of a tall cat tree in a sunny window. She loves to play with wand toys, chase cat toys down the hall and play with her kitty friends. She can be chatty too and does not like to be shut out from what’s going on.
The best home for Meera would be a quiet home where someone is home a lot and can continue to encourage her to come out of her shell.
A gentle cat or two would be fine, as long as they don’t try to dominate her. No dogs and no young kids.
Meera has been tested and is heterozygous (+/-) for the fold gene. At this time, x-rays show that her joints are good. Scottish Folds have potential future health issues due to the fold gene (Scottish Fold disease – osteochondrodysplasia | International Cat Care) and Meera’s perspective family will need to have the financial wherewithal to help with those needs.
Meera enjoys both wet and dry food and has been wonderful with her litter box. She uses her scratching posts/pads appropriately. Meera is a one of a kind kitty and someone very lucky will get to spend furever with her.
