Project Description

CALEB is a sweet, attention-loving BLUE POINT BIRMAN.  He is 12 years old, neutered and has his claws.  Caleb came into rescue with his sister, Blue, when their caretaker could no longer afford their medical care.  Blue has already been adopted and Caleb is now hoping to find a home of his own.  As a senior, Caleb has a few medical issues.   He has Stage 2 Kidney Disease and malabsorption issues.  When he came into rescue, Caleb was slowly starving to death because he could not absorb nutrients properly.  He is now on a monthly dose of B12 vitamin and gaining weight.  He will go home with enough vitamin to last him for several years. His Kidney Disease does not need any special treatment besides wet food and plenty of water.  He is stable and could live a few years more with a family willing to give him love and attention in his last halcyon days.  Caleb loves pets and hugs.  He enjoys being groomed.  He isn’t very active and prefers sleeping by your side to running about, but he is eager to meet new people and is a very easy-going, gentle guy. He gets along wonderfully with kids, other cats and dogs.  Caleb has a lot of love to give and wants a family to give it to.  Is it you?
