ROMEO…is a sweet BLACK PERSIAN. He is around 2 years old, neutered and has his claws. He weighs around 7 pounds and he has a silky, full coat, nice “doll” face and bright gold eyes. Romeo and another cat were left at an Indiana shelter when their owner could no longer keep them. He starts off as a shy, easily frightened kitty who blossomed in foster care and is now a total lap cat for his foster folks. He can often be found flipped on his back begging to have his tummy combed (he LOVES GROOMING!!) and is a very affectionate and loving little boy. But he startles easily and needs to have a quiet, adult home where he always feel safe enough to be someone’s best lap cat! Romeo is fine with other easy-going, non-dominant cats that will not bully him. No small kids or dogs please. Adoption fee $150. FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.

DRIFT…is a wonderful BROWN TABBY AND WHITE MAINE COON MIX. He is around 1 year old, neutered and has his claws. As you can see by his photo, he is an incredible rack of magnificent white whiskers, which accent his handsome face, tufted ears and wide green eyes. He weighs over 10 solid pounds and will probably be bigger as he matures. Drift earned his name by having been found in a snow drift by a snow plow driver in Milwaukee. The driver saw the cat being beaten by a teenager on the side of the road. The teenager threw Drift into the snow and the driver immediately pulled over and took him to the local animal control. We received him shortly afterwards as the shelter staff was so impressed by his sweet nature after all he had been through! Drift is now comfortably ensconced in a loving foster home and BOY is he a NICE CAT! Who on earth could abuse such a sweet creature is completely beyond our understanding! Just take a look at his video below and you will see what we mean! Drift is a social, intensely affectionate cat who just lives to be loved! Pet him, talk to him, cuddle him…he’s just happy as a clam! He is currently being fostered with three other cats and gets along with them absolutely fine. Drift is good with grooming and will only get more handsome as he matures and his coat fills out with good nutrition. Because of what happened to him before, Drift starts out a bit shy with strangers. But once he figures out you are friendly, he’s the boy you see in the video below! The best home for this sweet boy would probably be quiet and not have any small children or active dogs. He would be a great companion kitty for another young cat. He is playful and just FUN to have around! Mixed breed adoption fee $125. FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.

LUNA…is a lovely WHITE PERSIAN FROM EGYPT. She is 4 years old, spayed, has her claws and weighs around 7 pounds. She has an easy, silky white coat, bright pink nose and luminous gold eyes (on a very nice “doll” face…no maintenance here!
LEO…is a charismatic SEAL POINT SIAMESE FROM EGYPT. He is neutered, 1 year old, weighs about 8.5 pounds and has all of his claws. He has a light coat that will darken a bit yet in the next year, gorgeous ice blue eyes and a very lean and muscular body. Leo came from our Egyptian partner rescue (www.esmaegypt.org) and is so happy to have been given the chance to own his very special person. Leo is a super intense little man. He wants to be near and with his human ALL OF THE TIME. He makes his intentions very clear as his demanding voice vibrates throughout the entire house when he hears his foster mom come home. “Please come be with me! I want to be on your lap and kissing your nose and chin!” Leo is the ultimate lap guy. He wants to be touched and held close and commands it. His intense nature requires that his new person have experience with these emotions and be able to establish a bond and control that allows Leo to relax. He is strongly an alpha-kitty, and as such he must be an only cat but will fulfill all that his human wants in contact, affection and entertainment. He is too intense for children though would probably be okay with a confident and respectful dog. A home experienced with Siamese, Bengals and/or Abyssianians will be preferred. Adoption fee of $150. Fostered in Oshkosh, WI.

NATASHA… is a sweet BLUE EXOTIC SHORTHAIR FROM EGYPT. She is between 2 and 3 years old, spayed, and has her claws. She weighs around 7 pounds. She has a plush, silky short steel gray coat and enormous gold eyes. Natasha comes to us from our partnering organization in Egypt (www.esmaegypt.org ) and is doing well in her new country! As you can see by her video below, Natasha is a friendly, happy little girl who is as easy to love as she is to care for. She is playful and active and gets along very well with her current Persian roommates. She enjoys petting and adapts quickly to new environments. Plus she is just plain CUTE!!! Natasha would be fine with respectful older kids and maybe a gentle dog that would ignore her. She would be a good cat for someone looking for a flatter faced cat without the maintenance! FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI. Adoption fee $150.

LUCY…is a VERY sweet BLUE PERSIAN. She is around 2 years old, spayed and 4 paw declawed. She weighs around 7 pounds and her smokey-gray, thick coat is currently growing out of a neat lion cut. She has a flat little face and bright gold eyes. Lucy was brought into a local Wisconsin shelter as a miserable stray. Her coat was horribly matted to her skin and she was very thin and scared. Imagine running around outside with NO claws at all! Fortunately she transferred to rescue immediately and we had her cleaned up and feeling better in no time!
Lucy is a VERY nice kitty! Wow, what can we say…she’s just that nice! She is currently being fostered in a multi-cat environment and she gets along perfectly well with any and all. She is quite social, friendly, and nobody is a stranger. Since she is younger she is a bit more active and would be a good companion kitty for another active Persian or Himalayan. Lucy adapts quickly to new situations and loves being pet, fussed over and probably brushed once her coat grows in. She has a thick, cottony coat so a family familiar with the maintenance needs of a cat like this will be preferred so she never winds up the way she did when she first came in! Respectful kids and a cat-friendly dog would be fine. Adoption fee $175. FOSTERED IN GURNEE, IL.
CECE… is a lovely SEAL POINT RAGDOLL. She is around 5 years old, spayed and front declawed. She is a full, medium-length coat in chocolates and cream, big blue eyes and an enormous rack of whiskers…4 inches long! CeCe was adopted out from us a while ago but a child in the home became very allergic to Cece had to come back. The family absolutely adored this cat so they were heartbroken when they had to make the decision!
Cece is a structurally BIG 12 pounds. Her foster mom describes her with her previous family as, “She is very friendly, loves kids and would race around the house playing with their cocker spaniel! She would snooze with him in the sun when they were done with playing.” Cece is mild-mannered, affectionate and really needs to be AN ONLY CAT, as she is NOT fond of others of her species! But a nice dog and children to play with would be grand! Adoption fee $200. FOSTERED IN MADISON, WI.

CHERISH…is a lovely BROWN TABBY (coloration) MANX. She is spayed and has her claws. She is 7 to 8 years old and has seen her share of bad luck, living in an abusive home for several years. Stalking a feather, batting a stuffed mouse and occasionally chasing her no-existent tail are some of her favorite pastimes. She is a champion lap sitter, providing her own musical score as she purrs along with the petting. Cherish also enjoys helping with your computer work, as a mouse is a mouse after all! She is a very clean little girl: after exiting the litter box or before she eats, she cleans her paws on her scratch pad. While not a vocal cat, she will chirp and chur when something – an empty dinner bowl or a dirty little box – needs some attention. Adjusting to her new home will take her some time, based on her past abusive situation. Cherish would like to have a safe room for a few days while she explores the rest of the living arrangements. She is adaptive girl, playing with children and enjoying large groups of people while in her foster home. She would, however, be best suited to be the single animal in the home. Mature adoption fee $80. FOSTERED IN WEST BEND, WI. WATCH CHERISH ON YOUTUBE

Adoption fee $150. FOSTERED IN OSHKOSH, WI.
SPECIAL NEEDS
MAJA…is a unique SEAL POINT SNOWSHOE SIAMESE. She is around 3 years old, spayed, has her claws and weighs 9 to 10 pounds. She has a very pretty, interesting coat pattern of seal point colored CIRCLES on both sides, surrounded by pure white! Her tail is pure chocolate brown as are the splotches on color on her slim face, highlighted by bright blue eyes. Maja came to us from a Chicago shelter with no real history other than being “unwanted.” She is a very friendly, sociable girl, as you can see by her video below, and has been a lovely cat to foster. Maja is obviously listed as a Special Needs cat because she has one ear that was damaged in the past, probably from a previous ear infection that was never treated. As a result, the outer part of her ear is scarred down over the opening. When she came to us we had her ear flushed and treated and it is currently fine. But her new people are going to have to keep the ear canal clean and be watchful for any other mild ear infections that may occur. She is currently NOT on any medications. She is otherwise perfectly healthy. Maja is not talkative and is moderately active and playful. She does not mind being held and she loves to be around her people. She would probably be ok with a cat-friendly dog and older respectful kids as she adores attention. She would probably love to be the one and only cat in the household but another easy-going cat that would ignore her and allow her to be the Queen Kitty would be ok too! She would be an excellent Siamese for someone new to the breed! Special Needs Adoption fee $80. FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.

RASCAL…is a delightful SEAL POINT SNOWSHOE SIAMESE. He is 5 years old, neutered and front declawed and weighs around 10 pounds. He has absolutely gorgeous markings in chocolate and cream, with of course the cute white feet and splashes of white on his face which emphasize his bright blue eyes. Rascal was adopted from us about a year ago to a person who took very good care of him but developed serious health issues and could no longer care for a pet. Rascal’s doting foster mom is quick to say that Rascal is one of the best cats she has ever fostered as he has “an AMAZING personality!” She says, “Rascal is a very playful and active cat. He plays and plays but always has time to stop and give me a loving head bump!” His motor is always set in the “on” position and you couldn’t ask for a more friendly feline. Rascal would do best in a household that would provide him with lots of love and interaction. Respectful kids would be just fine and another friendly cat would be SUPER! A calm dog would be ok too. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE WE GUARANTEE THIS CAT WILL NOT BE HERE LONG!! Adoption fee $200. FOSTERED IN MILWAUKEE.
